Calcium soaps

Our range of calcium soaps consists of a number of different products, based on palm, fish, rapeseed or olive oil, and is produced in either Europe or Asia. The advantage of this is that we can offer a suitable solution for various needs.

Profat

Profat is a calcium soap based on palm with a high melting point (> 100 °C) and an interesting price-quality ratio. In the Profat range we have the possibility to apply the fatty acids from palm oil in several ways. This makes it possible to reach a C16:0 content of up to 70%. Profat 58 is a variant with a maximum C16:0 content of 58%, keeping it below the 60% limit.

Profat has the following characteristics:

  • 50% saturated / 50% unsaturated fatty acids
  • high digestibility of fatty acids
  • easy way to increase milk production
  • suitable for use in compound feed in pellet form

Monofat

Monofat is a calcium soap that is 100% based on olive oil of European origin. The product has a granular structure and a light green color. Monofat can induce a change in the fatty acid pattern of the milk.

Monofat has the following characteristics:

  • European origin
  • 78% unsaturated fatty acids
  • provides a firmer feed pellet
  • interesting product for sheep and goat feed

Colzafat

Colzafat is a calcium soap that is 100% based on rapeseed oil of European origin. Due to the high level of unsaturated fats, Colzafat can induce a change in the fatty acid pattern in the milk.

Colzafat has the following characteristics:

  • European origin
  • 88% unsaturated fatty acids
  • interesting price compared to hydrogenated rumen-resistant rapeseed oil
  • also available without BHT
